Circular Communities Scotland Annual Conference 2022

November 23, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 4:15 pm

£40 – £150

This will be our first in-person conference in 2 years and an amazing opportunity for the sector to come together again in one space, to reconnect with one another and network. The team and board are so looking forward to seeing our members again face-to-face.

We are delighted to have Ms Lorna Slater MSP, Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity officially open the conference and speak, and we will also welcome back our host Heather Reid OBE.

As always, we have an exciting lineup of industry speakers and expert keynotes, with diverse and engaging breakout sessions and lots of opportunities to network and speak to exhibitors in The Market Place. In addition breakfast rolls, lunch, refreshments and drinks reception are all included in your ticket price.

A little more about our theme…

Whilst circular social enterprises and charities benefit the planet through reuse, repair and recycling, they also benefit community members by providing low-cost alternatives to buying new, volunteering, employment and local economic opportunities. Now, our members impact is more important than ever, acting as a crucial lifeline to individuals, families and communities across Scotland.

What’s more, climate change can disproportionately impact those in lower-income communities and countries. By working to embed a circular economy in Scotland, we can lead by example, championing a greener, fairer world for all.

Social and environmental justice are 2 sides of the same coin, and we’re looking forward to exploring and celebrating this at our conference this year.
