Living Streets Edinburgh Group: Election Hustings (online)

We are holding an online election hustings event to hear from candidates for the council elections about their vision for a walkable Edinburgh before voting on 5 May. This will be on Tuesday, 12 April at 5pm  – we hope you can join us!

We will briefly outline our own Manifesto for Walking – which you can see here: bit.ly/walk2022 . Candidates from all the main political parties will then be invited to make a short opening statement about their visions for walking in Edinburgh, followed by questions from members of the public.

We have invited spokespeople from all the major parties. As we are politically impartial, we will ensure that everyone has an equal chance to contribute. We are delighted that leading Scottish transport journalist Alastair Dalton has agreed to chair the event.
