North Edinburgh Community Festival

The North Edinburgh Community Festival is a free, family friendly and community-led event taking place for the first time in West Pilton Park and the West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday 7 May 2022 from 12noon – 6pm.
This is a day to celebrate all the amazing talent and opportunities in North Edinburgh, with over 100 organisations, groups and individuals living and working in the area offering free activities, stalls and performances!
Highlights of the day include:
LIVE MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE
from local community acts including:
Granton Youth Mixtape
Pulse of Place Samba Drumming
Yer Local Bams
Broughton High School
Craigroyston Community High School
Pirniehall & St. David’s Primary Music Clubs
Over 50 community stalls including:
Fresh Start, Pennywell Pantry, Lauriston Farm, Granton Community Gardeners, North Edinburgh Arts, Granton Goes Greener, Police Scotland, City of Edinburgh Council, Health in Mind, Edinburgh and Lothians Greenspace Trust , Community Renewal, Project Esperanza, Stepping Stones, West Granton Community Trust, Girl Guides, Carr Comm and many more.
A community parade from Muirhouse Millennium Centre to West Pilton Park led by LIFT (Low Income Families Together). Themed “Under the Sea”
Free and “pay what you can” food from:
Scran Van, Edinburgh Food Social, Edinburgh College, Rapid Relief Team, Pollinator Picnic

North Edinburgh Arts Arts & Dance, Graffiti, Stitching and Art Bugs, Muirhouse Library Storytelling, The Green Team interactive play, Play Rangers, Moving Music Drumming Circle, Writing with the Super Power Agency, Tragic Carpet Drama workshops, Tinderbox Makerbox Digital Music workshop
All-age sports sessions with:
Spartans Academy Skills Challenges, Herriot Watt Rugby and Chair Yoga
