Transitioning Edinburgh to low carbon heat Workshop

The focus is to bring together key stakeholders from the public, private and community sectors across the Edinburgh city region to discuss how to make the shift to low carbon heating, a key element for any Net Zero plan.  It will present the wider context of Scottish Government low carbon heat plans but the event aims to concentrate on the local scale – in particular how do we take this forward and what are the governance structures required to ensure it is effectively planned, communicated and delivered in the timescales required.

We have a range of highly experienced speakers from across the UK to provide examples of how they are progressing city wide strategies and large scale heat projects.  We also have an expert panel discussion including industry experts and politicians to debate these issues with attendees and respond to their questions.

Numbers are relatively limited by the size of the available space at the Edinburgh Climate Change Institute (ECCI) so please book early if this of interest.
